BINFORD--Died, at his home near Carthage, Indiana, January 17, 1922, of pneumonia, Charles F. Binford, aged 57 years. He was a valued member of Carthage meeting.

CHARLES F. BINFORD PASSES AWAY
Charles F. Binford, age fifty-seven years, a native of Rush county and for many years a prosperous farmer, of Ripley township, died Tuesday morning at 3 o'clock of pneumonia at his home west of Carthage. Mr. Binford was sick only ten days previous to his death.

Mr. Binford has been engaged in farming for a number of years, but was also interested in other enterprises. He was vice-president of the Hungate Wholesale company, which operates grocery stores, and formerly director of the Charlottesville bank. The deceased was a member of the Friends church at Carthage.

Mr. Binford is survived by the widow and two daughters, Miss Emma Binford, of Wilmington college in Ohio, and Miss Mary Binford, who lived at home. He is also survived by three brothers, Irvin Binford, living southwest of Charlottesville, and Walter and David, living west of Carthage, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Jane Chappell, of near Carthage.
