Charles Floyd

Not Pvt. Charles Johnston Floyd, (CSA) (1829-1864) who married Sarah Jane Floyd and died in the Battle of Proctor's Creek, VA during the Civil War. The two Charles may be cousins but are not the same person. See Geni discussion https://www.geni.com/discussions/254562?msg=1585495 for details.

Note: Enum 15 Oct. Who are John and Flora Rankin, ages 13 and 14 who are living with family? Is Elizabeth Floyd who is living with the family, the mother of Charles? Note she is from NC, also. And who are John and James Floyd, age 18 and 16? If they are Elizabeth's children, then she was age 54 when the youngest was born-- not impossible, but not likely?
