KERR, Charles (Charlie) Muir - Peacefully at the age of 94 on September 3, 2009, Charlie joined his beloved wife Violet, who predeceased him in 2005. They were married for 68 years. Loving father of David and his wife Deborah (their "special daughter"), he will be sadly missed by his many friends and, especially, his dearest friend Larry. Charlie was also predeceased by his older sister Betty and younger sister Jean. Cremation and a service and celebration of his life have taken place. Charlie and Vi resided in East York for 60 years and both had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. They travelled often, enjoyed many hobbies and loved to be surrounded by music. We will miss you Dad, but you will always live on in our hearts. "The song may have ended, but the melody will linger on forever."
