Charles Leroy Eickhoff

He was born June 18, 1926 at Storm Lake, the son of Charles Eickhoff and Anna Boettcher. He married Esther I. Arndt on Sept. 4, 1949 in Sac City. Ike served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was a flight operations specialist with the Iowa National Guard. He is survived by his wife; one son, Ben Eickhoff of Evansdale; one daughter, Karen Wersinger of Kansas City, Mo.; six granddaughters; two great-grandsons; one brother, Loren Eickhoff of Grinnell; two sisters, Marian Sievers and Flora Moore, both of Storm Lake. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles L. Eickhoff, Jr.
