Charles Hansford Martin & Ruth Ethel Hudnall were married Feb. 9, 1963 at Shrewsbury, WV by the Rev. D. W. Bowe. Charles & Ruth had a happy marriage with what few years they had together.

Charles "Chuck" Hansford Martin, 70, of Glasgow, died Monday in the Montgomery Hospital.

He attended the Glasgow Church of the Nazerene, was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMW and a native of Twilight, Pa.

Surviving wife, Ruth Hudnall Martin, son James Roy Martin of Shrewsbury; stepsons Herbert Hudnall of Price, Utah, Edward Johnson of Flint, Mich., stepdaughters, Rebecca Risor of Taylorsville, Ky., Ruth Ann Ecker of Owosoo, Mich.; sister Mrs. Blanche Kuhn of Hugheston, Mrs. Mamie Stone of Mammoth and 10 grandchildren.

Service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Nazerene in Glasgow with the Rev. Robert Salser officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Friends may call at Cook Funeral Home, Cedar Grove after 7 p.m. today.
