Hello Shaun, There is only one cemetery in Etna. The church associated with it was renamed several times over the years: The German United Evangelical Church of Centerville, 1849 The Independant German United Evangelical Church of Etna, 1852 The United Evangelical Protestant Church of Etna, 1919 The First Congregational Church of Etna, 1929. My posting of interments in Etna Cemetery is NOT official, nor is it complete, as I'm sure there were many burials without markers, such as your grandfathers'. We recorded only those readible tombstones that we could find there. If you would like me to include him in my posting as an "unmarked" gravesite, please send me his full name along with his birth and death dates and I'll add his name. I have access to church record information for 1852-1880s. Do you have an "Heinrich Martin" in your family tree? I found the following birth record: ======== Georg Heinrich - born - March 23, 1854, baptised May 28, 1854 Parents - Heinrich Martin and Maria Barbara geb. Pfistner Godparent - Georg Pfistner ======= Official Etna Cemetery records are also available through the Western Pennsylvania Historical Society. Good luck in your research. I hope this helps! The year of Charles' birth varies from 1864 to 1873 according to various records. The year 1865 is an estimate, based on the fact that he appears in the 1870 census as 4 years old, that Ida May was born in 1866 (which means it was more likely that Charles was born in 1865), that William H was home with Eliza in 1864 and could have fathered a child before he re-enslised in the army, and that Charles was 16 in the 1880 census.
