About Charles Joseph O'Donnell
Arrived USA, New York on May, 1892. In 1897 Charles returned to American with his brother Dominick who was immigrating, they came on the Carmania. In 1900, Charles lived with his brother Patrick and his family at 172 Buffalo Street and worked as a Saloon Keeper. His brother Dominick also lived with them and worked as a Railroad worker. In 1905 he was running the saloon at 173 Buffalo Street. In July of 1907 Charles and Dominick returned to Ireland possible to visit their dying father. They returned to America on the Campania on September 4, 1907. Brother Dominick was working as a Lt for the Milwaukee Fire Department when he died in a fire on January 4, 1910. Brother Patrick died in November 1910 or Endocardities. Charles married Rose An Byrne on June 2, 1917 with John Egan and her nice Marie Kelly at witnesses. They had a honeymoon at Niagara Falls. Rose and her infant son were visiting niece Marie Frawly and upon their return Rose found her husband dead in bed of a heart attack. He died at age 47 on September 30, 1920. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery through Brett Funeral Home in the O'Donnell Plot #21
