Her son, my grandfather, says: "I don't think I ever heard her shout or speak a loud word. She was also very careful with her speech (lashon hara and clean language)." She was very neat, always impeccably dressed, wearing her shaitel. Very friendly, sociable, and had a sensitive nature. She was makpid on (particular about) davening (praying); she davened all three tefillos every day. She used to say a lot of Tehillim (Psalms); my grandfather thinks she said the whole Tehillim every day. She loved her sisters. She was particular about tznius (modesty); it was very, very important to her - even when she was sick in the hospital (head covering and general). She made some shidduchim. In honor of Rosh Chodesh she'd give her children a roll instead of regular bread (which was generally a day old; she was careful with spending). She was a stay-at-home mother and a very warm person. - CB
