Chaya Keila Litmanowitz

Khaia ליטמאנאוויץ nee Zilberberg was born to Avraham and Shifra. She was married to Mendl. Prior to WWII she lived in Poland. Khaia was murdered in the Shoah.

G16.6 Chaya Keila, born about 1925, married R. Menachem Mendel Meir Litmanowitz of Warsaw, wrote novellae to his father-in-law's volume of responsa, dated Purim 1939. He was a descendant of R. Solomon Rabinowitz, Admur Radomsko, the Tiferet Shlomo (see Volume Two, 221). A page of Testimony for them was posted in 2007 by Yitzchak Shapiro in New York

Please note: Menachem Mendel Meir Litmanowitz was a descendant of R. Solomon Rabinowitz, Admur Radomsko, and the Litmanowitz's who descend from R. Solomon Rabinowitz are descendants of his daughter Ruchla/Rachel who married Eliezer Lipman Litmanowitz. Based on generational considerations, we can deduce that Menachem Mendel Meir Litmanowitz must have been either a son or a grandson of one of Eliezer and Ruchla's sons.
