In his will dated 21 Apr 1650, proved 16 Mar 1651 in London, Richard Alleyne named: his wife, Christian Alleyne; his daughter Ann Alleyne Laws, wife of George Laws; his son Reynold Alleyne; his daughter Margaret Alleyne Culpeper, wife of William Culpeper, to be paid to Sir Cheney Culpeper and Dr. Steed, to whom he had secured lands; son Abell Alleyne; his grandson Alleyn Culpeper, son of Margaret; and his son Richard, the residue and as executor.3
