About Christian Bollerup Pedersen
When he was called up for military service in Denmark in April 1912, he decided to emigrate to the USA instead.
Nik Pedersen school project:
My great grandfather Christian Bollerup Pedersen came to America 1912. He arrived at Ellis Island where he was processed. After he was processed, he moved to South Dakota where he met an old family friend, John Stampe. Mr. Stampe had a job on the farm for my great grandfather. When my great grandfather came to America he thought this it is best for his family. My great grandfather met my great grandmother, Anna, on the farm where she worked as a maid and cook. The language he spoke was Danish.
