Christine Alix de Massy

Christine Alix de Massy (Noghès) (Monaco, 8 July 1951 – Nice, 15 February 1989) was born to Princess Antoinette of Monaco and her then lover Alexandre-Athenase Noghès. She was a first cousin of the reigning Prince Albert II and niece of Rainier III. Although Christine Alix was born out of wedlock, her parents married in 1951, thus legitimizing her, and placing her in line to the throne.[1]

She was the youngest of three siblings; the others were Elisabeth-Anne (born 1947) and Christian Louis (born 1949).

Christine-Alix was married twice.

She married firstly in Monaco on 14 February 1972 and divorced in 1976 Charles Wayne Knecht, first cousin once removed of Princess Grace (b. Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, 23 November 1944), and had one son:[2] Keith Sébastien Knecht de Massy (b. Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, 24 August 1972),[2] married in July 1999 to Donatella Lecca Ducagini Duca di Guevara Suardo Fabbri, with whom he has four children:[2] Christine Knecht (12 June 2000)[2] Alexia Knecht (21 September 2001)[2] Vittoria Knecht (18 April 2007)[2] Andrea Knecht (16 October 2008)[2]

She married secondly on 25 March 1988 Leon Leroy, without issue.[2]

She died of leukemia at the age of 37.
