From the records of Massnebach Lutheran Church: Christoph Bickel was born 27 Nov 1682 in Massenbach, Wuerttemberg to Hans Jacob & Ursula Bickel. Joh. Christoph Bickel, son of Hans Jacob married Maria Rosina Schner, daughter of Thomas on 8 Aug 1714.

Christoph & Rosina had 5 known children: Johann Philipp, Margaretha Rosina, Jacobina Fridricca , Ludwig Adam, & Philippina Rosina.

Christoph & Rosina, & their children, immigrated to America, arriving in Philadelphia on 26 Sep 1732 on board ship "Mary".

Christoph died in Dec 1756. His burial was recorded at Augustus Lutheran Church, as well as New Hanover Lutheran Church where he is buried.
