Clara "Marie" Haldeman, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in Geisinger Medical Center. Born on June 3, 1929 in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late John "Ducky" and Clara Ditzler Kline. Marie worked as a seamstress for the former Canoe Mfg. in Pine Grove and as a knitter for the former Gold Mills in Pine Grove. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Pine Grove and was a 1947 graduate of Pine Grove High School. She loved ice skating, bowling and swimming. Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert H. "Hank" Haldeman; a daughter, Lynn Kelly; a grandson, Steven Kelly; and two sisters, Betty Louise Kline and Jean K. Snyder. Surviving are a son, John, husband of Carol Haldeman of Pine Grove; three daughters, Betty Jean Webber of Honeybrooke, Lou Ann wife of Will Shiffer of Pine Grove, Heather wife of Dave Weidel of Alexandria; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services and interment will be held in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove, on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Dr. Richard Schoenleber officiating. The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Building Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963, in her memory. The H. L.
