Clayton Teizenberg (1996 - 2011)

Brief overview:

Clayton (15), was stabbed at a home he was staying at, in Syeboom Steet, Rosendal, Western Cape, on 8th May 2011, when a gang of robbers gained entry to the house. “There was a karaoke party and Clayton wished me a happy birthday before leaving home,” said his mother Desiree.

At 03h00 Desiree was woken up by someone knocking at her door to tell her that Clayton had been stabbed. “At Delft Day Hospital, I was holding him in my arms and he told me twice it was three men who stabbed him and that they broke into the house. He died in my arms while the doctor was examining him, said Desiree.

It is believed that the perpetrators gained entry through an unlocked back door.
