Don born in May 1916 and died shortly thereafter. Bernard (1918 - 2008) born 11 May1918 in Wayland, died 1 Sept 2008. He lived in the Kalamazoo area for most of his life, worked for the Upjohn Company for 35 years and was a WW II Navy veteran. During the warhe served in the South Pacific theatre including the Philippines. Hegraduated from Wayland High School and Parson's Business College, wasa member of St. Andrew's Church in Kalamazoo, a Life Member in the Masonic Lodge, where he served as a Past Master of Lodge #87, and also served as the secretary for over 35 years, also served on the Demolay Board and was member of the Chapter Council Community. He married NaomiVan Deusen on 18 May1940. They were both teachers in round dancing, and were members of the Michigan Round Dance Association for over 40 years. Bernie also cued for round dances.
Raymond (1920 - 2011). Known as Bish, died on 28 Sept 2011.He married Barbara and they had three children, Steve, Susie and Jill plus Barbara’s son John who Bish adopted. He lived in Wayland most of his life. He graduated from Wayland High School 1938 and was on the football team. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacific Theater. He was a founding member of Wayland VFW Post and was the first Commander.
Ellen Rose (1927 – 2021) was born on 6 Feb 1927 and died on 22 August 2021. She married twice. She had two sons from her first marriage, Anthony and John Salski. She was married to George Parlmer for 48 years until her death (age 94). Ellen was the first president of the Dorr Lioness Club. She was also involved with her church as a pianist.
Chauncey (known as Bill) was born on 28 February 1928.
