Clifford (Cliff) Raymond Rogers

Clifford R Rogers lived in the following locations according to the attached census records:

1911 Marriage: Indiana

1920 California Census and we know they lived in Los Angeles, CA 1916 because that's where MaryBeth was born.

1930 - 1940 Cook CO, Illinois Census

My mom knew very little about Cliff and Nelle's family, only that they traveled frequently, collected antiques and that Nelle painted and attended an art school when she was young..

They had one daughter, Mary Beth. There is a Nellie Tibbits Rogers who was incorrectly linked to our Cliff Rogers and they had several children. One was born 1916 in Illinois. That would have been tricky to give birth to two children in two different states at the same time. So, I'm confident they are not the same woman.

Parents: James Rogers (b abt 1857) and Mary White (b 1862?) according to Cliff and Nelle's marriage certificate. Attached

There was a death of child Leta Shields the notice states born TX 9/20/1923 death 12/7/1984 LA, CA. In the death notice they listed father's surname Rogers and mother's maiden name as Bright. Don't know that this to be our family.

Note: There was a incorrect birthdate associated w/Clifford Raymond Rogers previous and also linked to a findagrave link. After finding a detailed marriage record listing C R Rogers birthdate, birthplace, parents and Nelle Bright's detailed info with her parents, it became clear there was an error inking to Clifford R Rogers born 1895. I have deleted our Clifford's photos and have requested the link to Nelle as his wife be deleted.

I am researching his death record so we can provide a correct link. If someone has more info I would welcome your help. Virginia Brooks (Bright)
