CLIFTON FRANK HARLOW
Clifton Frank Harlow, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.B. Harlow, died at the Emmanuel hospital in Portland on Wednesday evening.
Mr. Harlow was born and spent most of his life in the willakenzie community near Eugene. He was in business in Portland at the time of his death. In 1924 he was married to Miss Florence Rydeman of Portland. She, with his daughter, Shirley Jean, his parents, and numerous friends and relatives survive him
Funeral services are to be held at the Veatch chapel on Saturday at 2 o'clock. Rev. H.W. Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Gillespie cemetery. ~~~
NOTES:
Clifton Frank Harlow was the son of Lane County pioneer descendants Frank B. Harlow & Laura "Gertrude" (Stevens) Harlow. The senior Harlows were the benefactors of the Eugene Baptist Church and the Eugene Baptist Church's Camp Harlow near Coburg, Oregon.
Clifton Frank Harlow was the grandson of four Lane Coounty settlers: Anderson Jackson Harlow & Amanda J. (Bond) Harlow; and of William Henry & Josephine Stevens.
Clifton Harlow was the great-grandson of Eugene Baptist church founders Mahlon Hall Harlow & Frances Burris (Tandy) Harlow. He was also the great-grandson of Coburg, Lane County, Oregon settlers William M. Stevens & Hester "Hixey" V. (Jones) Stevens.
Clifton B. Harlow was the husband of Florence Harlow and the father of Shirley Jean Harlow. He was the brother of Minnie Harlow (1874-1928), who is also buried in Gillespie Cemetery.
