Obituary- "Clifton Kersey, 66, died Friday, Oct. 6, at his residence. He was born in Calhoun County, son of the late Joseph and Sarah Whipkey Kersey.
He was a member of the Nobe Baptist Church and was a former employee of the Town of Harrisville.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Booth Kersey; one son, Steve, of Harrisville; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Blosser of Porterfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Bernice Parsons, of Nitro; two brothers, Frank, of Johnson City, Tenn., and Robert, of Hopsdale, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Lona Jeffries and Mrs. Mary Channels, of Toronto, Ohio, and Mrs. Daisy Hickman, of Pineville; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Raiguel Funeral Home with the Rev. Don K. Newlon officiating. Burial was in Log Church Cemetery in Cantwell."
