Col. Benomi Waterman

Fifth of eight children born to John Waterman and Anne Olney. Great grandson of three of Rhode Island founders:

Thomas Olney and Richard Waterman.===

He was born, raised and lived his entire life on the family property in Warwick. He married Sarah Wickes February 11, 1724 and would have 3 children. By trade he was involved in shipping to South America with his brother Resolved. He was very active in both civil and military matters, holding various posts in both.
