25 Jun 1793: Sarah Slaughter aged 89 years, the widow in turn of Charles Taliaferro, the Younger, and Thomas Slaughter, deposed in Caroline that on 12 July 1753 one Benjamin Robinson married her daughter Lucy Slaughter. Sarah Slaughter and old Col. Benjamin Robinson agreed to a marriage contract for their children and Anthony Thornton was present when they met.
