About Connie Lynn Meadows
Connie Lynn was born to Thomas Clenton and Vertus Marcum Meadows in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky. Connie graduated from South Point High School, South Point, Ohio. She married Forest V. Wells and a son, Thomas Lee Wells was born to this union. After this divorce Connie married Elmer William Wood and a son, William Kenton Wood was born to this union. Thomas Lee Wood was adopted by his maternal grandparents Thomas Clenton and Vertus Meadows. William Kenton Wood was raised by his paternal grandparents.
Connie served in the US Army and was stationed in Venice, Italy. Connie became a practical nurse while in the army. Also she did Recuriting Duty in Virginia Beach, VA. Her headstone states she was in Vietnam but that is a mistake.
