About Constance Lea Broussard
Mamma was and has been described as a 'faithful' woman. Mamma helped many and was a great listener. She was determined, at times hard headed (so said Daddy) and loving in a very strong way.
There were times when Mamma was ill
and yet, she would inevitably pull herself
back up by the boot straps and keep
going.
I loved her singing voice. I would just
beam when she sang in the choir ~
so moved by her beautiful choral voice.
I can still hear her and I was gifted of
some tapes by family members of
her (singing) voice.
Mamma was active and passionate about
life and I admired her 'grace' in the light
of losing so much, so many before she passed on.
She left an indelible mark on
my life. and I miss her often (still).
