Albert Meddaugh Albert E. Meddaugh, 72. of 12 South Cherry St., City of Poughkeepsle, died a Vassar Hospital Thursday after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of the area, he was an employee of the Little Brauhaus Restaurant, Poughkeepsle until his retirement in 1966.

He was a veteran of World War H, serving kt the United States Army Air Corps.

Mr. Meddaugh was born in Pleasant Valley on May 14, 1008. the son of John and Nancy Cromwell Meddaugh. He was married to the former Hester Lawson, who. survives.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Meddaugh Is survived by a son. Albert E. Meddaugh Jr. of Poughkeepsle; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Ann White of Centerville, Mass.; a brother, Irvln Meddaugh of Pleasant Valley: two grandchildren and several .nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to t p.m. at the John L. Del Santo Funeral Home. 104 Mill St, Poughkeepsle.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m.

Burial will be In the Poughkeepsle .Rural Cemetery.
