It is believed that Costantino died in a Russian POW camp after WWI. He was known to be a soldier but it is not clear which army he served in...more than likely it was the Austrian Army.
The surname Lekic is the Croatian spelling whereas the surname Lechich is the italianized version. The latter spelling occured commonly and is considered as legitimate a spelling as is the former.
