About Creta Louk
Creta Rader Louk a resident of New Era Village near Belington, departed this life at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, in Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins. She was 91.
Creta was born April 14, 1916, at Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Glenn and Deborah Cutright Rader.
On Oct. 27, 1941, in Maryland, she was united in marriage to Howard Louk, who survives at their home in Belington. They had celebrated 66 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Laco Rader and wife, Lanora, Demoine Louk and wife, Jill, and Lunydol Louk and wife, Patricia; and one daughter, Laniece Hood and husband, Dale. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers. Creta was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed as a staff helper at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio, from which she had retired. She was a member of Faithway Baptist Church near Belington.
