About Crisanto Lichauco
Crisanto Lichauco was a wealthy landowner who established "Hacienda El Porvenir" over 1,352.84245 hectares, situated in the the old municipalities of Tayug, Natividad, San Quintin and Sta. Maria in Pangasinan. Agrarian conflicts between the heirs of Crisanto and their tenants in the 1950s was solved only through the purchase of said property by the government.
