Cynthia was the daughter of Levi Monroe Wood and Mary Ruth Hooper.
She was first married to Issac Jefferson Mills on 04 Dec 1879 in Jackson County. Performed by: R.H. Stephens, Justice of the Peace at Mary Wood's house {mother of the bride}. James Beard and S.N. Wood, witnesses.
After the death of Issac in 1888, Cynthia was to marry Henry M. Parker on 18 Oct 1890 in Jackson County. Although their marriage license was issued 18 Oct 1890 it was never returned to the county clerk to be recorded.
Cynthia and Henry lived a short time after their marriage in the Caney Fork Community; but eventually would move to the Willets Community of Scotts Creek where they remained until his death.
After the death of Henry in 1940, Cynthia would move to Skagit County, Washington with her son, Thomas Hutson Mills and his wife Mary Etta Cogdill. She would remain there until her death.
Cynthia's son, Thomas and wife Mary are buried here in the same cemetery.
