Daisy Eugenia Parrish was born on June 10, 1885 in Bulloch County, Georgia, daughter of Michael "Mike" A Parrish (1851-1913) and Harriet Ann (Proctor) Parrish (1851-1940). She was known as "Genie".

Within her Parrish family, she is the sister of John W. (1872); Elizabeth "Lizzie" R. (1877); J. Benjamin "Ben" (1878); Seaborn Emmett (1882); Henry Holcomb (1880); Alice (1883); Dock Remer (1886); Emma A. (1888); Mabel (1890) and Columbus A. (1894) Parrish.

On October 8, 1905, Genie Parrish married William Lane Ringwald in Bulloch County, GA.

They became the parents of Edward "Buddy" Ringwald born Aug 19, 1906; Lena Ringwald born Aug 5, 1908; Pearl Ringwald born Jan 29, 1910; Herbert Ringwald born Oct 23, 1912 and William "Bill" Lane Ringwald, Jr. born July 27, 1917.

On April 20, 1967, Daisy Eugenia "Genie" (Parrish) Ringwald, age 81, passed away in Chatham County, GA with burial on the next day, April 21, in the Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, Chatham County, GA.
