DAN REIMER
A service will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 9, 1994, at Bronleewe-Bass Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsboro with interment in Fir Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Reimer died Sept. 5, 1994, of causes related to age. He was 83.
He was born May 19, 1911, in Corn, Okla., and moved to Prince Rupert, Canada, before settling in Dallas.
In 1936, he married Ruth Friesen. He moved to Salem in 1947 and worked for the Salem Box Co. In 1952, he moved to Portland and worked for Birkenwald making store shelving and refrigeration units. He later was a sheet metal worker for Kalt and retired in 1976.
He was a member of Village Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters Janet Fritz of Beaverton and Karen Wilhelm of Bakersfield, Calif.; son, Gordon of Portland; sisters, Arpa Harms of Dallas and Martha Wall-Loewen of Saskatchewan, Canada; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
