Daniel married Nov. 16, 1732, Sarah Sherwood, daughter of Samuel Sherwood. He inherited a portion of the homestead at Trading Cove, on which he lived until his death. He was chosen an elder in the church at Montville in 1750. He died 12 May, 1755, leaving property to the value of from $40,000 to $50,000, which was bequeathed by will to his children. His wife survived him, and died at the age of 00 years.
