Lititz Record, Thurs., Oct. 2, 1930, p. 1: Daniel Ludwig Daniel Ludwig, 85, retired farmer, died early this morning at his home on East Main Street of complications. Mr. Ludwig has been seriously ill since the death of his wife, not quite two months ago, but up until that time had been in good health for a man of his age. Following his retirement from farm work, he was employed by the borough for eight years.
He is survived by these sons and daughters: Mrs. Emma Petry, Lancaster; Mrs. H. Krick and Clayton L. Ludwig, Neffsville; Mrs. Rebecca Fry, Talmage; Mrs. Mamie Getz, Mrs. Elizabeth Kofroth and Alvin, Lititz, and Mrs. Ella Spickler, at home.
The funeral will be held from the late home Monday afternoon at 1:30 and at 2 o'clock in the Rothville Lutheran Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
