Daniel Trowbridge

Birth: Dec. 28, 1737 Morristown Morris County New Jersey, USA Death: 1793 Mendham Morris County New Jersey, USA

Son of David Trowbridge and Lydia Holmes. Married Sarah Hathaway Ludlow or Ludlum. Father of David, Abner, Samuel Trowbridge and Mary "Polly" Trowbridge Denman. According to the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) served as a private during the American Revolution. May have been buried in one of three locations: Trowbridge family farm site in Morris Township, NJ, the Presbyterian cemetery in Morristown, NJ, or the Baptist Cemetery, also in Morristown, NJ. The Baptist Cemetery was dug up in the 1870s and bodies transferred to Evergreen Cemetery, also in Morristown, but no record of Daniel being transferred there, so his grave is essentially lost.
