Biography

1688 taxed in Charlestown (REGISTER, vol. 34, p. 274). 1702-03-16 Representatives of Boston and Charlestown to renew the bound marks between these towns "are to meet at the House of Daniell Whittemore at ye Head of South River at Eight O'clock in the morning..." (Boston Record Commissioners, vol. 11, p. 18).
1704-10-20 contribution made to rebuilding Malden Meeting House (History of Malden, p. 214).
1724-06-21 sell estate of "Father Joseph Bassett" (Plymouth Deeds, vol. 19, p. 164).
1728-06-28 signed petition protesting location of new Meeting House (History of Malden, p. 504).
1756-10-04 will filed (Middlesex Probate #24781).
Daniel bequethed to more than half of his children his longevity, since they lived more than 80 years, a long life in those early days.
lived his 93 years on "the original family farm" he inherited from father, without much change.
