In the 1810 Prince William VA census, there is a David Blackwell listed with one male under 10, two males 10-16, one 26-45, and one over 45. One female under 10, two females 10-16, one female over 45.

The same David Blackwell is listed in the 1820 Prince William VA census as follows: three males under 10, one over 45; one female under 10, one female 45 and up.

He is listed in the 1830 Roane, TN census, one male 5-10, one male 70-80 (David), one female 20-30, one female 60-70.

Also listed in the 1840 Roane, TN census as a Revolutionary War pensioner, aged 82, farming. One dependent female (a daughter?) aged 30-40. (The boy has probably married and moved on - not listed on the same page, possibly has a different last name)
