David Brassey, 3rd Baron Brassey of Apethorpe, OBE

He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.

He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Grenadier Guards.

He retired from the military in 1967.

He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Brassey [U.K., 1922] on 28 June 1967.

He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Brassey of Apethorpe, of Apethorpe, co. Northampton [U.K., 1938] on 28 June 1967.

He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire in 1970.

He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Northamptonshire in 1972.

He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1994.
