ACTUAL BURIAL: The Hopson Burleson Memorial Cemetery

NOTE: This is a memorial headstone. He is believed to actually be buried with his father at the Hopson Burleson Memorial Cemetery. His wife died 37 years after he did and it is highly unlikely that he was exhumed and reinterred as he died with black jaundice. His original headstone had disintegrated, as so many others did at the Hopson Burleson Cemetery, and the family most likely placed this one beside his wife instead of placing a separate marker way out in the country where the original marker once stood, now laying in crumbles.
