David Hay, 12th Marquess of Tweeddale

David George Montagu Hay, 12th Marquess of Tweeddale was born on 25 October 1921. He is the son of Lt.-Col. Lord Edward Douglas John Hay and Violet Florence Catherine Barclay. He married, firstly, Hon. Sonia Mary Peake, daughter of Osbert Peake, 1st Viscount Ingleby and Lady Joan Rachel de Vere Capell, on 26 October 1946. He and Hon. Sonia Mary Peake were divorced in 1958. He married, secondly, Nella Doreen Dutton on 14 January 1959.
