About David Loeb
In 1870 he founded B'nai Yehuda Temple in Overland, Kansas with 9 others. David and family with three children moved from Kansas City to Leadville Colorado around 1878. David operated a furniture store, perhaps named Gates Kelly. His brother-in-law Louis Waldauer worked there as a salesperson. Daughter Blanche was born in Leadville, but by mid 1884 they were all back in Kansas City where his youngest son Arthur was born.
