David Lusk 100 Acres, Wythe

James Wood Esquire Governer of the Commonweath of Virginia. To all to whom these presents shall come Greetings. Know Ye that by virtue of a Land Office Treasury Warrant Number four hundred and sixty one issued the twenty fourth day of May one thousand seven hundred and ninety four, there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto David Lusk a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres by Survey bearing date the twenty fourth day of November one thousand seven hundred and ninety four lying and being in the County of Wythe on the waters of the Clear fork of Wolf Creek, between the land of John Compton Senior and William Kidd and bounded as followeth to wit, Beginning at three black oaks and runneth thence North sixty eight degrees East one hundred and twenty poles to two white oaks and red oak not far from John Comptons line and near the Creek South forty eight degrees East one hundred and fifty poles to two white oaks South fifty degrees West eighty six poles to pointers, North fifty seven degrees West one hundred and ninety poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said David Lusk and his Heirs forever. In (Witness) where of the said James Wood Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath here unto set his hand and caused the lesser seal of the said Commonwealth to be Affixed at Richmond on the first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight and the Commonwealth of the twenty third.
