Notes

From "Families of Ancient New Haven": New Haven Census, 1704

On 3 Apr. 1704 a drawing was made for lots in the "Half Division" of New Haven lands, recorded in the volume of Proprietors' Records which is labeled 4, at pages 108 to 116. This list gives the number of persons in the family of each proprietor, and hence is equivalent to a census. It is very useful in checking the genealogical statistics. Those with none in their families were either non-residents or deceased early proprietors. ... Dauid Perkins 7 ...
