He married (3) MARGARET DYER 1819 in Baldwin County, AL, daughter of REUBEN DYER and MARIA CUPINS. She was born Abt. 1793, and died 1851.

Notes for DAVID TATE: According to Thomas Woodward, Tate was only about 10 years younger than Alexander McGillivray
