About David Ulery
GEDCOM Note
"In September of 1829, some three years after Stephen ULERY, late of West Bethlehem Township, in Washington County, PA, had died, one of his sons, David ULERY, petitioned the Orphan's Court of adjacent Greene County, PA, in which his late father also had owned 115 acres of land, seeking the Court's permission to sell this land which had belonged to his father, who had died intestate, on behalf of Stephen ULERY's widow, Anna Christina CONKLE and 11 (of the 13 above named children; for some reason John and Daniel were not included in the petition listing) children, six of whom then were still minors. The 115 acres could not be split equitably, and so the land was to be sold and the proceeds divided. This eventually was done." Source: George H.
