Detta Irene Langston

Funeral services for Detta R. Langston, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Fellowship Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Kenneth Armstrong officiating.

Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. Langston died at 12:15 p.m. Friday in San Angelo. She had been a resident of Borger for 40 years prior to moving a year ago. She resided at 910 Franklin, Apartment 10.

Mrs. Langston was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Borger, Borger Rebekah Lodge and the Royal Neighbors.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Docia Plumlee, San Angelo; and Mrs. Leola Rising, Winfield, Kan.; two sons, D.E. (Buddy) Langston, Borger; and Rassie Langston of Odessa; two sisters, Mrs. Metta Fraser, Dumas; Mrs. Arnold Barmore, of Monroe, La.; two brothers, Harmon and Rudolph Reeveas, both of Ruston, La.; 16 grandchildren and 23 grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be C.E. Washburn, Roy Hinton, Tom Bradford, Marvin Hart, Virgil Plumlee and Eddie Brame.

Survivors include a son, D.E. (Buddy) Langston of Borger.
