Dewey Jas Kelley, son of the late Velma May Lancaster Kelley and Elvis Berlin Kelley was born in Lesterville, MO., on Jan 11, 1948.

He died at his residence in Lesterville, MO., on Dec 20, 2011 at the age of 63.

On Feb. 24, 1966, in St. Louis, he was united in marriage to Jane Creek. He enjoyed talking on his C.B. where he was known as "Making Bacon." His other hobbies included hunting, riding four wheelers, collecting guns and running his dogs. He most enjoyed visiting and joking with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Camille Kelley; two brothers, Lewis Buford and Dearl Robert Kelley; and one sister Edith Elaine Kelley.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Dean (Gaila)Creek of Silva and David Kelley and his companion Joann Buichard of Lesterville; one daughter, Charlotte Renee (Richland) Stockamp of Ironton; eight grandchildren,one great-grandchild; two brothers Charles Henry (Sandy)Buford of Granite City, IL., and Elvis Kelley and companion Debbie Buford of Lesterville; one sister Arleen Sissy Dunlap and companion Melvin of Farmington.

Funeral services were held Dec. 24 at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Lesterville with Mark Winn officiating. Interment was in Huff Cemetery.
