About Dientje Boas

Dientje was famous for her "kugel". Every shabbes she prepared a huge meal and all the children, wives and husbands had to be there. After everybody had eaten she called for her daughters and had a "heart attack". She was laid on the divan, her stays loosened and revived with smelling salts. The next week she did it all again.
