Her father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all named Joseph Lambson (occasionally read as Lawson). The father of the fist Joseph Lambson was Barnabbas Lambson, born abt 1597 in England, and died 1640 in Newton, Middlesex, MA. His wife was Mary Lidgett. The first Joseph married Elizabeth Rice, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Ann (---). The second Joseph married Elizabeth Adams, daughter of James Adams and Prsicilla Ramsdell (James was from Scotland and was founder of the presidential Adams family). The third Joseph married Mary Ann, whose last name is unknown, and removed from Concord, MA, to Granby, CT. Inevitably, he also had a son named Joseph (IV) as well as five daughters in addition to Dinah. the sisters include:</p><p><p>Lydia, who married David Lambson; Honora, who married Judah Hayes; Mary; Abigail, who married Samuel Woodward; and Elizabeth.</p><p><p>data from Bryce W.
