Domnall O'Neill, King of Ulster was the son of Henry 'Aimhreidh' O'Neill and Affric O'Neill.2 He died in 1432, killed in a skirmish.1
He fought in the Battle of Dundalk in 1399, where he was taken by the English, and sent to the Tower of London.1 In 1401 he was ransomed.1 He gained the title of King of Ulster in 1404.1 He abdicated as King of Ulster in 1410.1 Between 1410 and 1414 he struggled with his eventual successor Eoghan O'Neill, who held him prisoner.1 He gained the title of King of Ulster in 1414.1 He abdicated as King of Ulster in 1419.1 He gained the title of King of Ulster in 1421.1
