About Donald "Don" Richard Johnson
My father was a patient, sweet, gentle man. He joined the U.S. Navy in W.W. 2. He was a Seabee in the South Pacific He helped build the airstrip where the Nola Gay sp.? took off from, the plane that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. He also designed the fuel systems for the MinuteMan missele at Aero-Jet in Folsom, CA. 1964 we moved to Beverly Hills,California, where he worked on oil refineries at Parson's in L.A. In 1969 we moved to Frankfurt, am Main West Germany, where Parson's had a branch to work on another project. It was there he died falling off a train in south-west Germany. Written by Patty, his daughter, 02/09, age 54. The tree is wrong. David halleck "Hal" johnson is his dad not his brother!
