Donald Gillespie

Donald was one of the 11 first cousins (4 of Neil & Agnes in Richmond Hill, 4 of George & Marie in Floral Park, L.I. and 3 of Richard Dietz and May [Gillespie] in Malverne, L.I. Because of frequent visits back & forth, the 11 of us virtually grew up together. Donald's family nickname was "Duck" (I guess after Donald Duck). When he married the beautiful Ann Boyle we always referred to her as "Duck's Annie" to distinguish her from his sister, Anne. The oldest of the cousins (9 remaining) is Marie Dietz Schoen at 91 and now the Gillespie family matriarch of that generation. -- Dickie Dietz
